The Wakefield Writers Festival – La Pêche is an anticipated and visible bilingual cultural, literary and educational event in the Municipality of La Pêche. Started in 2014, the festival creates spaces for authors and readers to explore writing and ideas in fun and interesting ways. It promotes both regional and nationally known authors, and raises awareness about literacy and reading/writing, in French and English.
